1
Lay your drop cloth on the floor and lay the plywood sheet on top. Paint or wallpaper one side of the sheet as you see fit. Allow to dry completely, then turn over and repeat as desired on the opposite side.
-
2
Once your plywood sheet has dried completely, locate the midpoint of the sheet, then make a mark in the middle of that on either side (e.g., for a 4-foot divider, your marks would be 1 foot in on either side respectively). Make your mark several inches below the top of the plywood.

3
Using your electric drill, drill a hole at least 1/2 inch in diameter at the site of your marks on either side of the panel.
-
4
Measure and mark the ceiling corresponding to the width apart of the holes in your divider, then manually screw your 2 eye hooks into the ceiling.
-
5
Thread your twine or fishing wire through the hole on the divider at the length you would like it to hang from the ceiling. Tie the two ends together, knotting it securely, so you now have a loop to hang your divider from.
-
6
Hang your divider from the ceiling by looping the twine or fishing line over the eye hooks, step back to make sure the two sides are even and voila! You have a perfect room divider.
