Instructions

    • 1

Cut a width of aluminum foil about 1/2 inch longer than the length of your straw.

    • 2

Center the straw and roll it inside the aluminum foil until the foil is wrapped all the way around the straw. Stuff the ends into the bottom and top of the straw. Tape along the edges to seal the foil.

    • 3

Draw two large stars, the same size, on card stock. Cut out the stars.

    • 4

Place one star face down, cover with several dots of glue, leaving an open space in the center at the bottom of the star. Cover with the second star and gently press down so the glue sticks the two stars together.

    • 5

Slide the straw into the center of the star, between the bottom two points. Squeeze together, so the glue holds the straw. Allow to dry.

    • 6

Color the star on both sides using either markers or paint.

    • 7

Using a paint brush, brush glue onto the colored stars then sprinkle with glitter for a magical effect. Allow to dry.
