Hot summer days at the fair always makes people think of sweet kettle corn. Wouldn't it be great to have it at home whenever you want? You Can! It's quick and easy and costs only pennies to make! The guide below explains what you need to make kettle korn and how to make it at home in just minutes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Canola oil White sugar Salt Popcorn kernels
  1. Step 1

    Heat 1/4 cup of canola oil in a large pot on medium heat.

  2. Step 2

    Add 1/2 cup of popcorn and stir well so all the kernels are covered with oil.

  3. Step 3

    Add 1/4 cup of white sugar.

  4. Step 4

    Cover the pot and shake consistently until all the popcorn has popped.

  5. Step 5

    Pour the kettle korn into a large bowl. Add salt to taste and stir well to break up clumps.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use brown sugar instead of white for a caramel flavor.
