How to Make Metal Magic Wands
A magic wand is a personal and sacred item and should be as unique as the wielder. It is important to choose the materials which will enhance the desired magical properties of your wand, selecting the correct crystals and stones, as well as the appropriate herbs and fillers.
There is a common body of metaphysical knowledge that each stone and herb has a traditional spiritual effect. For example, hematite is for protection, rose quartz for self-love, sage for cleansing and banishing, and mullein for clarity. The herbs, stones and metals you include in your wand will set the intent and strengthen the wand's power.

Wrap the brass tube ends with 20-gauge copper wire. Begin 1/4 inch from the end of the brass tube and overlap the wire in a solid coil wrap until you cover 1/4 inch of the brass tube and 1/4 inch of the crystal. Continue in a loose spiral around the length of the wand, occasionally stringing a stone or crystal bead onto the wire wherever it pleases your eye. Finish the opposite end of the wand with another solid coil wrap, 1/4 inch overlapping the crystal and 1/4 inch overlapping the brass tube.
