How to Manually Uninstall Internet Explorer 7

It is easy to remove Internet Explorer 7 from your computer. Doing so, however, will automatically restore Internet Explorer 6.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to "Start" menu.

  2. Step 2

    Click on "Control Panel."

  3. Step 3

    Click on "Add/Remove Programs."

  4. Step 4

    Click on "Windows Internet Explorer 7."

  5. Step 5

    Click "Remove."

  6. Step 6

    Restart your computer after Internet Explorer 7 has been uninstalled.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are a Windows XP user and have installed Windows Service Pack 3 on your system, then you will need to uninstall this application before removing Internet Explorer 7.
