Make a Flower Essence Assessment

Making a careful and accurate flower essence assessment will allow you to determine the best single or multiple flower combinations for the individual in need. While assessment techniques will differ when making determinations for animals instead of people, all assessments require careful observation, attention to detail, precise notes and compassion to determine key issues.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • paper pen "Flower Essence Repertory" by Patricia Kaminski and Richard Katz flower essences and related equipment (if dispensing)
  1. Step 1

Ask your client to choose one unresolved issue from his past and pose key questions surrounding this incident:
How does he feel about this incident?
What does he believe about it?
How does it affect him currently?
What one emotion is associated with this memory?

  2. Step 2

Moving forward into the present, ask key questions about life as the client perceives it now:
What's her favorite and least favorite time of day, and why?
Does she feel comfortable "in her skin?"
What overriding emotion does she associate with her daily life?
    What creates the most stress?

  3. Step 3

Projecting into the future, pose key questions about life as the client wishes it to be or envisions it:
Where will he be five, 10, 15 years from now? Is it a happy projection?
What would he like to accomplish both immediately and in the future?

  4. Step 4

Spend time studying "Flower Essence Repertory," (see Resources). Compare it against your notes to identify which essences indicate or contraindicate for your client's needs. Create from this information both a single- and a three-flower combination that would best suit that individual.

Tips & Warnings
  • If making an animal assessment, follow the same initial process. Owners often unwittingly spread tense vibrational energy. Continue to use "Flower Essence Repertory," keeping in mind any observations you have made of the animal firsthand.
