Use an online company logo generator or a downloadable program. The online applications are free to use, however the options are limited. These include Cool Text and Logo Creator. The downloadable applications consist of Xara3D and LogoSmartz. The price of the programs is below $50 and you can receive a free trial. More opportunities are available with the downloadable applications such as animation and industry templates.

Start with a template. A template is a beginning guide to your company logo. Cool Text has texture banners. LogoSmartz begins with industrial templates or you can use a blank palette.

Click on the style of your company logo. With Xara3d, select the "Design" tab then choose the appearance of your button. The other applications have the designs in view.

Explore your options. With Xara3d and LogoSmartz, you have animation and shadow effects. You can change the clip art for company logo on LogoSmartz on the right side of the screen. Select the "Options" tab on Xara3d for color, texture and animation. The online generators have text, background and border choices.

Fill out the information. Cool Text and Logo Creator have a small form to complete. Insert the text and size. You may have the option of choosing the size of the company logos as well. On Xara3D, select the "View" tab for in-depth preferences into your logo. Select "Object" on LogoSmartz to import images from your PC.

Save your company logo. With the PC applications, choose the "File" or "Project" tab, then click "Save." The online programs allow you to "Render" or "Create" the logo, then download to your computer.
