How to Design Sneakers

Think of your favorite pair of sneakers and your favorite colors. Now think of a world where you can combine them together and now know that that world exists. Some of the major shoe companies have designed sites where you can customize their shoes. It is a wonderful thing when you can live in a world where you can show everybody your personality through your shoes.

Reebok

1. 

   Use the link in Resources to go to the Your Reebok website.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose your category from the center box, under the "Begin Customizing" headline. Choose from "Men's," "Women's," "Kids," or "Sport."

3. Choose your style.

4. Select your size from the scroll box on the right.

5. Click on the "Customize this Shoe" buttom on the right.

6. Begin customizing your shoes. The site will walk you through the process step by step. You can personalize your shoe, if you want to.

7. Purchase your shoe or create an account and save the design for another time.

Nike

1. 

   Use the link in Resources to go to the NikeID website.

2. Select your shoes on the NikeID website. From the drop-down boxes at the top of the screen, select from "Men's," "Women's," "Collections," "Studios" or "View Al.l" Children's shoes are listed under "Men's" and "Women's." Choose from sub-categories that range from sport to activity.

3. Customize your shoes. Select "Start Blank." Click on "What's Left?" on the menu to the right to begin customization. Choose the colors for your shoes. Consider personalizing your shoes with a personal ID or logo.

4. Purchase your shoes. Choose the size and quantity that you want to buy. Create a log-in to save your design.

Converse

1. 

   Use the link in Resources to go straight to the customizing page on the Converse website.

2. Choose adult or youth sizes. The adult options will be in the lefthand box along the bottom and the youth will be along the bottom but in the center box.

3. Select your style from the available options.

4. Choose your normal size. Converse sizes its shoes differently and will automatically convert your normal shoe size to the size that will fit you.

5. Click on "Design" and begin designing your shoe. There are a multitude of colors and patterns to choose from.

6. Personalize your shoe if you want to. You can put your name, nickname or any kind of ID that you choose.

7. Review your shoe and enjoy using the feature that allows you to see your shoe from many different angles.

8. Complete your order.

Tips & Warnings

• The customized shoes can take four to six weeks for delivery. The Converse site automatically lets you know if you missed something in the designing process.

• All of these shoes are not able to be returned, so make sure everything is perfect before ordering.
