Although there are a few companies that offer free website hosting, these packages are usually supported by unattractive ads that take up the top part of your site as well as very limited options. Wordpress is a blogging platform that allows you to create and customize your own teen website for free. You have complete control over all aspects of your site, including custom domain names, coding and any files you want to upload and share. If you are a complete beginner, Wordpress also makes it very easy to set up an attractive teen website using all of its available themes, and its interface is simple to navigate and use.

The first page of your website will be a collection of all of your recent posts in chronological order, which means your site will always be changing based upon each new post you write. Pages are static web pages where you can post information that does not change, for example an "About Me" or "Contact" page. To create a new post, go to "Posts" on the left navigation panel and click "Add new." To create a new page, go to "Pages" and select "Add new."
