Select several essential oils that you would like to use in your colognes. Essential oils can be found at natural health food stores, aromatherapy boutiques and through online retailers. Use a glass eyedropper to extract your chosen scents from their containers, and mix them in a glass or plastic measuring cup.
Only use one to four drops at a time to avoid adding too much fragrance. Creating cologne oil is trial and error. To keep track of the amount of essential oils you are mixing, log your recipe in a notebook. This will allow you to duplicate a cologne oil you enjoy and avoid repeating a mixture that was undesirable. -
