How to Wire an Orion 2500D to 4 Subs

The Orion 2500D car amplifier is a beast. With a power output of 2500 watts to a 1 ohm load, it's capable of driving multiple subwoofers, and driving them hard. If you have ambitious plans of putting together a subwoofer setup with four subs, the 2500D can handle it. Here's how to wire your subs to the Orion 2500D to get the job done.

Instructions

1. 

   Cut four lengths of speaker wire. The speaker wire will be used to connect two pairs of subwoofers to the amplifier, so measure accordingly, depending on where the subwoofers and amp will be located.

2. 

   There are two sets of speaker terminals on the Orion 2500D--one set will be connected to two subwoofers, the other set to the other two subwoofers. Connect a speaker wire from the first set of speaker terminals on the amplifier to the terminals of the first subwoofer. Then connect a speaker wire from the first sub's terminals to the second sub's terminals. In every case, connect the positive terminals (colored red) to positive terminals, and negative terminals (colored black) to negative terminals.

3. Repeat this process with the second set of speaker terminals and the other two subwoofers. When this is completed, you will have wired four subwoofers to your Orion 2500D amplifier.
