The Samsung M610 is a cell phone that can be purchased and used by Sprint customers. The cell phone has several functions, including the ability to access the Internet. Since the Samsung M610 comes with a Web browser, you can download any ringtones that you have created online. The Myxer website makes it incredibly easy to convert any song you have saved on your computer into a ringtone for your Samsung phone. Here is how to make ringtones for a Samsung M610.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit the "Upload image and music files" portion of the Myxer website (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Click "Browse" to find and select the song from your computer that you're going to make into a Samsung M610 ringtone. Click "Customize" after you have chosen the file in order to start editing the song.

  3. Step 3

Choose the part of the song that you want to be the beginning of the ringtone. You can do this by changing the location of the gray box located in the "Select a Section" part of the screen or by typing in a time in the "Start" text box. Change the length of the ringtone by clicking on either end of the gray box. Making the box larger will increase the length of the ringtone, and shrinking the box will decrease the length of the ringtone.

  4. Step 4

Type in the number for your Samsung M610 into the phone number box and click "Send to Phone."

  5. Step 5

Check your Samsung M610 for a message from Myxer. Open that message and you will see a link to the ringtone you just created. On your phone, select "Options." You will then need to choose the "Extract Address" option. After you have done so, you will need to select "Options" and then "Go to URL." Doing so will open the Myxer link on your Samsung M610.

  6. Step 6

Scroll to the bottom of the Web page and select the "Download Ringtone" link. The ringtone will then download to your Samsung M610.

Tips & Warnings
  • The ringtones you make and send to your Samsung M610 are free. You will be charged for accessing the Internet on your phone according to the terms of your Sprint cell phone plan, though.
