How to Install a Tubeless Tire on a Lawn Tractor
Most lawn tractor tires are tubeless, unlike your cars tires. This means that if you run over a nail or cut the tubeless tire, fixing it usually requires taking the tire off and installing a new one. It usually costs a minimum of $15 to have this done for you at a mechanic shop, not including the new tire's cost, but with the proper tools and techniques, tubeless tire installation can easily be done in your own driveway. Does this Spark an idea?

Installing a Tubeless Tire on a Lawn Tractor
-
1
Place the lawn tractor rim flat on the pavement.
-
2
Place the new tire on the rim. Put your hands on opposite sides of the tire and force the tire down onto the rim. The bottom side of the tire will slide on easily, but to get the new tubeless tire on the rim completely, you may have to stand on opposite sides of the tire to get it completely on the rim.
-
-
3
Wrap the ratchet strap around the outside of the tire. Ratchet the strap tight until the new tubeless tire inner bead touches the inside lip of the rim.
-
4
Air up the tire to the specified psi given on the tire sidewall. When there is about 5 psi left to fill in the tire, according to the air pressure gauge, remove the ratcheted strap and finish airing up the tire.
-
5
Re-install the tire on the lawn tractor by screwing in the bolts that hold the lawn tractor wheel to the axle.

You left out the part about taking the old tire off. That's the hard part. Unless you buy a new rim, the old tire is still going to be there.
