How to Prepare for the NCLEX Examination

The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) tests are created by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). Individuals who want to become licensed nurses must pass this exam to receive professional credentials. The test is largely comprised of medical abbreviations and terminology, and there are several online and offline review courses and programs available to help prospective nurses pass the NCLEX the first time they take it.

Tips & Warnings

  • NCLEX questions are based on book knowledge and not practical knowledge. This is why you will need to focus on memorizing many terms and definitions
