Things You'll Need:
- Gentle Facial Cleanser
- Washcloth(s)
- Oil Blotting Papers
-
Step 1
Wash your face with a gentle facial cleanser, making sure to remove all traces of makeup, and residue from your face. Rinse well, and dry your face with a gentle wash cloth.
-
Step 2
This part is super easy... Do not put anything on your face. you need to wait at least four hours after you’ve washed your face to accurately judge what is taking place on your skin. During this time make sure to not whether your face feels tight, and dry.
-
Step 3
After the 4 hour waiting period. Take an oil blotting paper and put one on your forehead, one on each cheek, one on your nose, and one on your chin. Note whether there is oil on these papers. Now, you may have oil on just your forehead and your chin, but no where else. Well, then you have combination skin. If you see oil on all the papers, then you have oily skin. If you skin feels super tight, you have very dry skin.
