Things You'll Need:

Step 1
First thing is your Draft, this is like a real draft where players are selected to their teams, If you have played before and just want some tips please skip to step 3.
The important part of drafting is to get power positions like QB and RB that will boost your score, picking your favorite team or players is not the best idea, but can be fun as well. try to pick the players who perform at the highest level each week. -
Step 2
After your draft is complete you should review your team. Check the "free agents" to see which players were not selected to a team, these players may be better than some drafted to your team, this is a chance to "upgrade" and get ready for kickoff.
-
Step 3
So your teams are set and your ready to play. It is important to watch the stats and evaluate your players, keeing up with player news is important, many people leave injured players active and get no points, if your player is injured, make sure he is not an "active player" for you each week!
So which stats do you need? Well, watching a NFL teams offensive and Defensive rankings will give you the best idea, since knowing which teams are weak against the run or pass will help you know who to start as "active" Star players may not have great games versus high ranked teams while average player may have a breakout while playing a soft defense. -
Step 4
Keeping an eye on player news and your league news will let you see which players have been released by their teams and who has been picked up, being the first to hit the free agents each week can help you stay on top, since everyone may be looking to change out players. Stay on top of the stats each week and waivers. If your watching a game and see that rookie nobody picked has some talent, be the first to pick him up, but not at the expense of a tested pro.
Its a lot of guess work, and watching the stats, but having good info and staying active will get you to the top!!
