Things You'll Need:
- 2 ~ 9 inch round cake layers (cooled)
- 2 1/4 cups of Baker's Angel Flake Coconut
- Red food coloring
- 8 ounce tub of Cool Whip Whipped Topping (thawed)
- Assorted candies
-
Step 1
Bunny DiagramLeave one layer whole (this is for the face). Cut the second cake as shown in the diagram picture.
-
Step 2
Arrange the cut cake around the whole cake on a serving platter or a large rectangular card board covered with foil. Use a small amount of cool whip whipped topping to hold the pieces together.
-
Step 3
Tint 1/4 cup of coconut pink using the red food coloring.
-
Step 4
Frost the cake with remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle the center of the bunny ears with the pink coconut. Sprinkle the rest of the bunny with the remaining coconut, including the outer edge of the bunny ears.
-
Step 5
Decorate the bow tie with the candies. Use candy for the eyes, nose, mouth and whiskers.
-
Step 6
Get creative and color the bunny's bow tie. Or for Chocolate lovers, use chocolate icing and instead of white coconut, use chocolate shavings for the bunny's face and outer ears.
