Make Garlic Fries Quick and Easy
Make Garlic Fries Quick and Easy

Do you ever find yourself gaping over the TV, hungry, but too tired to step out and pick up some food? I don't know about you, but I find nothing more relaxing than sitting in my pajamas, snacking on some food while watching my favorite episodes. Who doesn't like a quick snack full of sultry flavors without the inconvenience of stepping out the door! Here is a speedy garlic fry recipe my mother would whip up for me as an afternoon snack.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 10-15 mins
  • 2-3 Potatoes (Feeds 2)
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pan
  • An appetite!
  1. Step 1

Peel 2-3 Potatoes. (depending on size) Once you have done this chop your potatoes in half.

  2. Step 2

Now cut your half's into quarter inch slices.

  3. Step 3

Next, cut your quarter inch slices in half and garnish with salt.

  4. Step 4

Now boil about 2/3 -1/2 cup of your choice oil. Once your oil is heated add your slices. Once your slices have cooked for a few minutes on high, reduce the heat to medium. If you like your potatoes crunchy I suggest cooking them uncovered. For those of you that like them on the softer side, cover your fries and reduce your heat to low.
    * Once your fries start to pick up color, garnish your fries with as much garlic as you like.

  5. Step 5

After about 10 or so minutes your fries should be ready to eat!

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't stir your slices around to much, you don't want them to break.
  • Be careful when adding your potato slices to a heated pan. Always stay a safe distance away.
  • There are many complex techniques in making French fries. If you have any, feel free to message me, i would love to check them out!
