How to Wear a Man's Silk Scarf

A men's scarf is easy to tie with a few tips.

A man's silk scarf can be a charming accessory for cooler months, and can add an elegant touch to even the most basic of outfits. There are many different ways to tie a man's scarf, and knowing which is right for you can sometimes be a frustrating and overwhelming experience. However, a technique of looping the scarf around your neck will make you look sophisticated without being too fussy. Plus, the silk material of the scarf is instantly classy.

Instructions

1. Fold the scarf lengthwise so that you have a long, thin rectangle.

2. Fold the scarf in half again, so the two ends are together.

3. Drape the scarf around your neck, so that the side with the two ends drapes over one side of your chest, and the side with the fold is at the opposite side of your chest.

4. Pull the side with the ends of the scarf through the loop made by the side with the fold.

5. Tighten the knot so it is at the nape of your neck, almost like you are tightening a tie.
