Things You'll Need:
- The silk scarf
- A nice suit
- A jacket
- Wrapping and tying skills
-
Step 1
If you are a man:
There are a few ways to wear your silk scarf.
One is the classic drape.
If it is a more formal or dressy evening:
" a man's scarf should be worn inside his overcoat, exposed an inch above his collar with his tie in view."
(Ted Shorter Tonbridge, www.telegraph.co.uk) -
Step 2
Aviator StyleAnother, is to wear it aviator style, or a bit more casually, draped around the neck of the jacket.
-
Step 3
Wrap StyleWearing a man's silk scarf on a woman can be a fun way to accessorize your look.
They can be draped over your head on a windy day, and at the same time wrapped around your neck with ends to the back.
Drape his scarf around your neck and pin it with a broach, or wrapped and knotted at the throat.
You could wrap it around your waist and use it as a belt.
For a really fun night, ask your man to wear his scarf wrapped around his wrists and yours! Wow.
But keep in mind if you do neither of you may be wearing the scarf at all for long.
