This article will give step by step instruction's on how to make the best peanut butter chocolate chip cookies ever! Seriously if you like peanut butter and chocolate, and who doesn't then you will love these cookies

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large Mixing bowl
  • One fork and rubber spatula
  • 2 cookie sheets
  • pan spray
  • 2 potholders
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tbl baking powder
  • 1/2 tbl baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 semisweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 metal spatula
  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 350 and spray your cookie sheets with the pan spray. Soften butter in the microwave for 20 seconds and place in the mixing bowl. Add the peanut butter, and mix with the fork until smooth. Add the sugar and mix with the fork until the sugar dissolves. Add the eggs and mix with the whisk until the eggs are incorporated completely. Discard the whisk after this step

    Add the vanilla, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix until smooth. Add the flour and mix with the fork until combined. The dough should be just a little sticky to the touch. You may need to add an extra 1/4 cup of flour if the dough is too sticky at this point.

    Add the chocolate chips and using the fork divide in to 24 even balls and evenly space on the cookie sheets. Place in the oven for 7 minutes, and then rotate the pans 180 degrees. Cook for 5 more minutes and remove the cookies from the oven. Take them off the cookie sheets and place them on paper towels to cool. Once they are cool they can be put in your cookie jar. Hooooray cookies!

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure the oven is preheated before the cookies go in!!
  • The butter has to be at room temp to mix with the peanut butter.
