Do you ever wonder how celebrities like Kim Kardashian get flawless looking skin, sexy smoky eyes and the perfect pout?
Well, make-up artists, of course. I'm going to show you how to get this look on your own without spending a ton of money.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • liquid foundation and kabuki brush
  • concealer (a shade lighter than foundation)and concealer brush
  • translucent powder for setting
  • high lighter
  • blush in a neutral to bronze color
  • brow pencil or shadow
  • eye shadows (I recommend L'O real Wear Infinite Duo in Classic Khaki)
  • black eye liner (Kim uses Stila kohl eye liner)
  • eye shadow base
  • mascara ( L'O real Voluminous Mascara in carbon black)
  • lip liner (nude, if needed)
  • pale pink lipstick
  • clear gloss
  1. Step 1

    Face

Before you get started, be sure to moisturize face, neck and bust with moisturizer containing sunscreen. The higher the SPF the better.

To get flawless skin we need to start with liquid foundation. Use a shade that best complements your skin. Swipe some across forehead, along lower jaw lines and chin. Take your kabuki brush and blend all over face and neck. Be sure to blend into ears and hairline to achieve a more natural look.

After you apply the liquid foundation, you are going to apply concealer. Yes, concealer after foundation. Make sure you use a concealer a shade lighter than your foundation. This helps to cover dark blemishes and brightens under the eye for a more refreshed look. Start by putting a little on the back of your hand. The heat from your hand will warm the concealer to help it go on smoother. Using your concealer brush or ring finger, dab it under your eyes blending toward the outward corner. For contouring, apply down the bridge of your nose, above cheek bones and above upper lips for a sexy pout.

Apply nude to bronze color blush to the apples of cheeks and blend just under cheek bones into the hairline. Then use a vanilla high lighter and apply lightly above cheek bones and down bridge of nose.

Last, apply a translucent powder all over face to set the foundation and for a photo-finished look. Ready for the eyes?

  2. Step 2

    Eyes

The key to a gorgeous face is having great brows. Tweezers are your friend. After your brows are groomed, fill in any spaces using a brow pencil. Use light feather-like strokes and extend the brow at the end. Please don't draw one big swoop. You don't want to walk around looking surprised. You want to look elegant.

Now you should apply an eye shadow primer. This keeps the eye shadow from creasing into your lids. L'O real makes great primers, and it won't kill your budget. For the eye shadow, Kim is wearing a neutral and a deep brown. You can use L'Oreal's Wear Infinite Duo in Classic Khaki. First, apply the lighter shade just under your brow bone. Apply the darker color all over the lid and up into the crease. Using a liner brush, line just under the lower lashes. Then, blend, blend, blend. Then you're going to take your black eye liner and line the top lash line and your lower lash line as well as the water line. Run a smudge brush or liner brush over the liner on top and bottom blending outward and upward. Be sure not to make the liner too catty. Blend some more. Remember, the key to a great smoky eye is blending.

  3. Step 3

    Mascara and Lips

Apply your favorite mascara to the bottom lashes then the top lashes. If you don't want to spend a ton, I recommend L'O real Voluminous Mascara in carbon black.

For her pout, very lightly apply a nude liner. Follow with a pale pink lipstick and end with a sheer gloss.

  4. Step 4

Take this extra step if you want a glamorous, dramatic look.
Apply false lashes and substitute your pink pout for a smokin', fiery red.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you're thinking about false lashes and are timid to try yourself, you can apply your make-up and have an artist apply them for you at any cosmetics counter.
  • Be careful when applying false lashes with glue.
  • This look may break necks.
