Things You'll Need:
- Shovel
- Stool (preferably the dogs own stool)
-
Step 1
Locate the areas that your dog has decided to dig in. This can be a hole in the yard or a passage up against a fence used to escape from a yard.
-
Step 2
Place some of your dog's own stool within this hole.
-
Step 3
Cover up the hole as best as you can and in the cases of fences try and patch the hole to inhibit the dogs actions in the future.
-
Step 4
When the dog goes to dig in the hole, they will be greeted with a smell they are all to familiar with and will stop. For this action to stop, it may take a few times on your part of refilling and covering of the holes.
