Emergencies can strike without warning, and when they do, it's important that you know how to perform CPR or other life saving techniques. Do you know what to do in the event of an emergency? If you are looking for a CPR class in your local area, this article will give you some tips on where to find a certification class.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

If you are looking to take a CPR or First Aid Course in Phoenix, there are many options available in the city of Phoenix, Arizona and the surrounding areas. There are also different organizations that are available to provide a CPR certification class, such as American Heart or the American Red Cross.

  2. Step 2

You can go down to your local American Red Cross chapter, and sign up to take a CPR Class. They usually last all day, and you receive your certification at the end of class. There are other CPR certification providers that you may consider, such as the American Heart Association or Heart Savers who provide CPR and First aid certification in your home or office. This is great for people who want to earn their certification, but have difficulty scheduling time off. Some places may offer weekend and evening classes for your convenience.

  3. Step 3

You can also do an internet search, or check your telephone book or telephone directly for the nearest CPR Class Providers near you. Good luck!

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are getting your certification for work, contact your employer ahead of time and verify that the class you take will be acceptable to them. The American Red Cross and American Heart certifications are usually universal, but not always.
