How to Put Together a Babysitting Kit

If you want to score big with the children you babysit, take along a craft and game tote. Rotate your kit so that it has something different in it each time you go to babysit.

Things You'll Need:

• craft paper
• glue
• scissors
• crayons
• markers
• paint
• glitter
• pipe cleaners
• books
• stickers

1. Purchase a large canvas bag and some iron-ons. Decorate your tote and put your name on your bag with some iron-on letters. Make it look colorful and inviting to children!

2. Purchase some colored paper, tissue paper, scissors, art box, crayons, glue, markers, glitter, stickers, pipe cleaners, paint, coloring books, and an art or craft book, etc...

3. Put a couple of picture books in your tote from your bookshelf. You can also go to the library and borrow a couple of books and rotate them every week or so.

4. Purchase a deck of cards, old maid, and/or golffish in your tote. You can also put a larger game in your tote and then rotate it too. Some library's have games to loan out.

5. Keep a baggy of treats in your bag for good behavior!
