Home to make Homemade Pizza

There is nothing like my mother's homemade pizza!! I remember as a child smelling the delicious masterpiece baking in the oven and imagining how wonderful it would taste. There is a little work to it but the pay off is awesome. Come with me and we will bake this journey together!!!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pizza Pan
  • Cutting Board
  • Rolling Pin
  • Utensils needed to chop and cut
  • Chef Boyardee Pizza Kit
  • Hamburger Meat or you can substitute Ground Turkey Meat
  • Mild Sausage Pork or Turkey
  • Cheese: Mozzarella, Mild Cheddar or whatever to your liking
  • Green Pepper
  • Black Olives
  • Sweet Onion
  • Mushrooms
  • Flour
  • Olive Oil or Canola Oil
  1. Step 1
    Rolling out the dough

    Rolling out the dough

The first step in making homemade pizza is to set the oven to the desired temperature. You can buy chef Boyardee pizza kit at your local retail store. All you have to do is read the instructions on the back of the box which should state the desired temperature. After setting the proper temperature for the oven begin greasing a pizza pan and preparing the dough. After mixing all of the ingredients for the dough allow the dough to rise in a large bowl with a paper towel or covering on top of the bowl for about five minutes. The heat from the oven should allow for the dough to rise, ready to roll out on a pizza pan. You can add a little flour to help the dough roll out easier. Place dough on cutting board and use rolling pin to roll out dough. Add a sprinkle of flour if needed to keep the dough from sticking to the cutting board. Cook hamburger and sausage and set aside for the pizza toppings. You can cook one to three pounds of hamburger and sausage. The more the merrier.

  2. Step 2
    Preparing the pizza toppings

Now we are ready for the pizza toppings and cheese. Chop up the desired amount of black olives, sweet onions, green peppers and mushrooms. I usually grate 1 to 2 cups of Mozzarella and Mild Cheddar Cheese. You can never go wrong on how much cheese you use. Place pizza sauce provided from Chef Boyardee Kit on top of pizza dough. Sprinkle out hamburger meat, and sausage and layer with cheese. Last but not least sprinkle on all pizza toppings.

  3. Step 3
Time to bake and enjoy the aroma

Time to bake and enjoy the aroma

Place pizza pan into oven being careful not to burn yourself. Cook pizza for the amount of time suggested. Now stand and smell the fresh aroma of baking homemade pizza. There is nothing like taking a bite of juicy black olives, freshly baked mushrooms, and piles of meat and melted cheese. I hope you find this article to be helpful. Enjoy your day and may peace be with you!!!
