1. Start with selling at craft or holiday shows. Get a feel for what people are looking for and it's a great way to get instant feed back.

2. Set up a credit card account and bank account in your companies name.

3. Make a website. You can set up a domain name and make your own website or use a template available from most host sites.

4. Sell wholesale. Get your name out to other stores. Send brochures and catalogs to large chain stores and go in person to smaller stores. Bring samples.

5. Be in a trade show. Many companies are founded in trade shows and large department store buyers go to trade shows to find new vendors.
