      The first thing you will want to do is get a junk email account. When signing up online for free samples you ended up, sometimes inadvertently, getting a ton of junk mail on new products or sales. This will also be a good place to look when you are looking for a product you have sampled.

      Visit the freebie sites to find out about new samples. Some of the ones to check are teenfreeway, slickdeals, freakyfreddies beauty page, startsampling, the list could go on and on. You can also google for more. Walmart has one with samples that change all the time.(I will list some in the resources page).

      Another option is going directly to the manufacturers website. Sign up for their email newsletters to get notified of sales and events such as makeover days at local department stores.

      Makeovers. Visit your local department store to try the different products at the makeup counter. Sometimes they can offer you a free makeover and give advice on colors that will work for you. But as a warning most of these employee do not have schooling in beauty application, so use your best judgement.

      Ordering online. Remember most cosmetic companies offer samples for ordering online. Sephora, Origins, Ulta and many others let your pick your own samples to be included with your order.

      Home business cosmetics. Mary Kay and Avon are great for providing samples of their products to help you make a decision before purchasing.
