How to Fold a Fitted Sheet

Before I actually knew how to fold a fitted sheet properly I would just roll it up in a ball. I finally learned that there was a better and proper way of doing it. Follow the steps below and you will have yourself organized, and neatly folded fitted sheets.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Consider each corner of the sheet a pocket. Hold the fitted sheet with your hands inside two of the pockets on one of the short ends.

  2. Step 2

Take the corner that you are holding with your right hand and fold it over the corner you are holding with your left hand. Then continue with the other two corners. Do this until all four corners are tucked in.

  3. Step 3

Lay the fitted sheet on a flat surface (such as a table or bed) and tuck in all the edges

  4. Step 4

Now you can fold the sheet neatly down to the size you would like

Tips & Warnings
  • You may not get it the first time, but try again. It is worth doing because when you go to change your sheets, the clean ones in the closet will not be all wrinkled!
