Things You'll Need:
- March Madness Bracket
- Pen
-
Step 1
march madness bracketFirst get in as many March Madness Brackets as you can. The more you play the better your odds will be of getting the right win combinations.
-
Step 2
basketball teamsThe first round is critical, there are 64 teams in the March Madness tournament. This means there will be 32 games the first round, you must win as many of those games as you can.
-
Step 3
Take the favorites, you might think you can pick the one upset that no-one else will get, but odds are not in your favor. The 5 vs 12 seed games are traditionally where the most upsets occur, so if you must pick an upset this is the best place to do it. Don't pick with your heart your favorite team unless there ranked nationally is not the best team in the tournament.
-
Step 4
When you move into second, third, and later rounds, stay with the teams that have performed well all season, odds are you'll rack up more points with these teams than with upset teams. The goal is to get more points than anyone else in your contest group. The longer your picks last the more points you'll get. You will soon be a March Madness expert.
