When it comes to your freelance writing day, there are only so many hours that you can devote to your business. Most freelance writers wish that there was a way to add more time to the day so that they can get more work done to make more money. Unfortunately this will probably not happen for a while. This is why it is so important to know how to plan your freelance writing day to make more money. Once you have implemented a solid plan for your freelance writing, you will be amazed at how much more money you will make each day.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find a way to dedicate at least 6 hours to your freelance writing a day if not more. This is the minimum amount of time that you should dedicate to your freelance writing career if you want to make more money. You can split these 6 hours into smaller working hours through out the day. One way to do this is to get up earlier in the morning and get 3 hours of freelance writing work done and then stay up for an additional 3 hours of freelance writing at night. It is important to dedicate a set number of hours each day to your freelance writing career.

  2. Step 2

Plan to spend the first hour of your freelance writing day in reading and answering your emails and other correspondence with clients. This is a task that can easily eat up most of your day if you do not take care of it first thing when you sit down to the computer. To make more money freelance writing, you will want to make sure that everything is taken care of so that you can spend the majority of your time writing.

  3. Step 3

Spend the last hour of your freelance writing day doing the more administrative tasks to make more money each day. These types of tasks will include marketing yourself and looking for new clients as well as the accounting side of being a freelance writer. These are essential tasks that do not make money for you outright but they must be done if you want to be a successful freelance writer.

  4. Step 4

Use the rest of the time that you have set aside for your freelance writing day for working on your writing. By blocking out a specific amount of time that you will be writing, you will become more productive each day. This will cause you to make more money from your freelance writing.
