Got a major sweet tooth but still trying to stick to a diet? Here's an easy, delicious peach dessert that will satisfy your sweet tooth and not bust your waistline.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Peaches (canned or fresh)
  • 1 TBSP brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • Peach juice or water
  • Skillet
  1. Step 1

Cut peaches into slices. If fresh, remove the skin and pit. Don't make the slices too thin or they'll fall apart in the skillet.

  2. Step 2

Spray a skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Combine 1 cup peaches, 1 TBSP brown sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon.

  3. Step 3

Pour the peach mixture into the pan. The pour enough peach juice or water over the mixture to cover the bottom of the skillet. Cook on medium-high heat for approximately 10 minutes, or until juices are bubbling. Be careful not to overcook the peaches. Serve warm.

  4. Step 4

One cup of this peach dessert has approximately 89 calories, 0.4 grams of fat and a very high count of vitamin C.

For a slightly higher fat and calorie count, serve with homemade whipped cream (1 cup heavy whipping cream, two TBSPs granulated sugar, 1/2 tsp. vailla. Mix with a hand-mixer until fluffy) or low-fat ice cream.
