Are you a talented musician looking for a new career? Or maybe you are a not-so-talented musician just looking for a job to pay the bills. Either way, I've written this eHow article just for you. Tough economies require tough people. Don't beat yourself up. The economy will bounce back, but in the meantime use these tips to find musician employment opportunities.

***CREATE AN EHOW ACCOUNT***
The best advice I can give a struggling musician is to start writing articles on eHow. Start today. If you wait any longer you could miss out on some big bucks. This month you'll probably only make a few dollars. But if you keep writing music articles your account has the potential to grow into hundreds and even thousands of dollars. Use eHow as a temporary income source. I made $400 last month and I don't know much about anything.

***OPEN A CRAIGLIST ACCOUNT***
My second suggestion (if you didn't like the first) is to open an account on craigslist. Depending on your musical talents you can play piano for a church, tutor a student to play the guitar or join a local band and play at clubs. Craigslist will open doors in your local communities and bring music lovers and students to your door step. This is yet another easy way in a tough economy to use your musical skills, knowledge and abilities to make quick cash.

***CREATE A BUSINESS CARD***
In addition to improving your resume, make some cheap business cards. Hand them out at school bus stops, in the malls and throughout your neighborhood. Ask people to spread the word about your musical skills and your need to find full-time employment. Visit schools, churches, day care centers and even homeless shelters. People love to listen to music and maybe you can get a job with the state playing music for foster kids or victims of fires. Bottom line is that your economic future is in your hands, not President Obama. You have talent --- use it.
