Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit your local gamestop. Gamestop sells used cheap games for all systems. Sometimes you can find games for the newest systems (xbox 360 and ps3) for under $10. They buy them back from people for $1-$2 and resell them. These games usually never have a problem with a broken disc.

Also, other stores are starting to sell used cheap video games. Check Toys'R'Us and Best Buy.

  2. Step 2

    Check http://www.cheapassgamer.com/
They usually post deals from other websites selling games at very high discounts. They are a good site and I recommend them.

  3. Step 3

Afterwards, check online at two sites, ebay and amazon. Often, you can find sellers of cheap video games. They also sell cheap used games as well. I have bought games for xbox 360 for under $10 at amazon.com. Buyers may want to sell their used games for cheap prices.

Make sure you are buying from a credible seller. They should have a return policy in case the game disc is broken or damaged.

  4. Step 4

There are a few other sites. Slickdeals.net and anandtech.com are great sites. They list good deals for cheap video games and electronics as well.
