Things You'll Need:
- cooking sheet
- olive oil
- salmon
-
Step 1
http://www.kitchenfantasy.com/images/68371.jpgFirst, prepare a cooking dish/pan/sheet for the salmon with aluminum foil to place the salmon on. Fold up the sides so the healthy salmon does not fall off. Keep the shiny side up on the foil so that it reflects the most heat.
-
Step 2
Next, take the piece of healthy salmon and put it on the sheet. With a brush, brush both sides lightly with olive oil. Olive oil is an extremely healthy oil, probably the healthiest. It is high in mono and poly unsaturated fats which are shown to reduce inflammation, decrease LDL (bad cholesterol) and increase HDL (good cholesterol). This can help you lose weight and maintain a healthy heart. Salmon naturally is a source of omega 3 fatty acids which are unsaturated.
-
Step 3
Next, we will take some healthy spices to add to the salmon. A few good examples are dill, parsley, tumeric, cumin, and many others. Spices add taste and flavor to the meal to give it a zest. You are almost done cooking your awesome healthy salmon!
-
Step 4
Time to cook. Set the oven to broil, wait a few minutes for it to heat up. After about 3-5 minutes, put the salmon in. Turn it ever 2.5 minutes until its been in for a total of 10 minutes. At this point the sides should be slightly broiled but the inside should be nice. Enjoy!

on 3/5/2009 Oh, broiling. I usually bake salmon, which takes longer. I'll have to try this. Sounds great! 5*
