We occasionally need money now for emergencies such as car repairs, dental, medical, other bills, and just living. I have listed some ways to get the money you need today. Remember, only use these loan methods if it is absolutely necessary, as some people do get into trouble with these types of loans.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1
    Payday Loans

    Payday Loans

Get a payday loan (also called cash advance loan). If you need money quick due to car repairs, doctors visits, etc., you can get a payday loan. When you apply for a payday loan, there are no credit checks, but they will hold a check for the amount plus interest that will be deposited on your next payday. You can get a payday loan at many check cashing stores and over the internet. Payday loans are more expensive compared to other loans. You will need identification, a bank account and a steady source of income.

  2. Step 2
    Pawn Shop

    Pawn Shop

Get a loan from a pawn shop. Pawn shops lend money on items of value, such as computers, televisions, CDs, DVDs, jewelry, tools, and other household items. Pawn shop loans are usually small and the average loan is for 30 days. If you were to take a piece of jewelry to a pawn dealer, you will receive money and not have to pay it back for about 30 days. You can also make payments on the item if you cannot pay back in full. Once you pay back the loan, you will receive your item back. If you do not pay back the loan, the pawn dealer will keep the item. Pawn dealers may also buy the item from you if you do not mind selling it.

  3. Step 3
    Unsecured Persoanl Loan

    Unsecured Persoanl Loan

Get a quick unsecured personal loan. There are a number of lenders on the internet that give quick unsecured personal loans. A unsecured loan does not require collateral. This loan can be accepted regardless of credit history. You will need a steady income and a bank account. This is one of the easiest loans to get. Be careful when applying for these loans online.

  4. Step 4
    Loan From Family Member

    Loan From Family Member

Ask a friend or family member. Usually this approach is not recommended. Sometimes there is just no other way. Perhaps you could leave some sort of collateral or contract with your family member or friend when asking for money. Try to keep the amount as small as possible so you can pay them back quickly. Usually if you pay them back quickly, they may help you again in the future. Remember to just pay them back to prevent any problems.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you can afford the loan. Look for the lowest interest rates possible. Compare different companies.
  • Always read the fine print. Be careful when giving out your personal information. Always check for scams by searching the company name and the word scam in the search bar. Check with the Better Business Bureau.
