Step 1
Set your alarm and leave enough room for breakfast. There is nothing better than taking your time in the morning to eat a balanced breakfast and providing yourself the energy needed to get though the day.
-
Step 2
Read a daily inspirational quote. You can get them on a daily desk calendar, by email, or a book with a variety of quotes. Post the quote at your desk or on your steering wheel, in order for you to see and reflect on it throughout the day.
-
Step 3
Live in the present. There is nothing worse than worrying about the days ahead, or feeling guilty about something that happened in your life previously. That only causes stress and headache.
-
Step 4
Remind yourself to look for the good each day can bring. With every hardship, there is something to learn or gain from the experience. If you focus your energies on that, the day feels that much brighter!
