Things You'll Need:
- Quiet space
- A positive attitude
-
Step 1
Recognize a higher power. Call it God, the Universe, Spirit, Love. Names don't matter. Accepting this power is what matters.
-
Step 2
Unify with this power. You are not outside of the Universe - you are part of it. It's that simple to recognize Unity.
-
Step 3
Realize what you are seeking. Don't wish for it, and don't talk about what you don't want. What do you want? Peace? Love? Financial security? Speak as if you already have it. Say "I am peaceful" and then imagine feeling that peace. Say "I am loved by my perfect mate" and feel what it is like to be so loved, and to give such love. Or say "I am financially secure, I have all the money I could want, I am completely safe." And then feel that safety and confidence that financial security means to you. Choose positive ways of saying what you desire. Don't say "I am sick of being in pain," but instead say "I am comfortable right now."
-
Step 4
FEEL IT! Whatever it is you affirmed in the last step, feel it, imagine yourself enjoying it, feel the relief of knowing it is yours. It is your feeling into the prayer that will ensure it manifesting.
-
Step 5
Feel grateful right now. You don't have to wait until the prayer is answered, feeling real gratitude for it right now will hasten it coming to you.
-
Step 6
Check in with yourself. This type of prayer can be thought of as an internal argument to change your beliefs. You thought before that you didn't have this thing (peace, love, money, whatever it was). This prayer is to convince your subconscious mind that you DO have it, right now. Accept this truth, and if you don't yet, go back and feel it again until you do.
-
Step 7
Let go and let God. You cannot make anything happen. God will take care of that. You've done your part - you prayed, you felt. Now just get out of the way and be ready for wonderful things.

on 11/10/2009 I never thought of praying this way. We tend to ask concentrating that we DON'T have what we are asking for.
