A mint chocolate martini is smooth and sweet at the same time, indulging chocolate lovers looking for a martini with a little kick. Perfect for an after dinner drink or a night out on the town, a mint chocolate martini is a simple martini recipe that delivers impressive taste, just as delicious as the traditional Peppermint Patty candy. If your sweet tooth is craving a special martini, you can enjoy your very own mint chocolate martini. Here's how!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 ounce Green Creme de Menthe
  • 1 1/2 ounce White Creme de Cacao
  • 1 1/2 ounce Peppermint Schnapps
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Ice
  • Strainer
  • Martini glass
  1. Step 1

Combine Green Creme de Menthe, White Creme de Cacao, and Peppermint Schnapps with ice in a cocktail shaker. You should have enough ice so that your mint chocolate martini is thoroughly chilled, about a cup or so of ice will do. Using Green Creme de Menthe will give your martini a nice green color, and the white Creme de Cacao will not affect that.

  2. Step 2

Cover the cocktail shaker, and shake your mint chocolate martini vigorously for about fifteen seconds to properly mix your ingredients and thoroughly chill your martini. The best way to shake a cocktail shaker is to cover it, hold it over your shoulder, and shake toward your belly back to your shoulder several times.

  3. Step 3

Remove the cover of the cocktail shaker, and place the strainer over the top. Slowly pour your drink into martini glasses, ensuring no ice slips through the strainer. You may garnish your mint chocolate martini with chocolate shavings, or serve plain. This martini recipe serves one drink. You can easily double or triple the ingredients to make more.

Tips & Warnings
  • Never drink and drive.
