Things You'll Need:
- Package of Ground Turkey
- Salt, Pepper, Season salt
- any other spice you like
-
Step 1
Put the ground turkey into a bowl. Start adding all of the seasonings and mix well. Take a ball of turkey and make a pattie. Make sure that the middle is thinner than the sides. This will insure even cooking. Try and make the same size patties so they will all get done at the same time.
-
Step 2
Patties cookingIn a skillet on medium heat add a little butter or oil to the pan. Ground Turkey has almost no fat in it so you need to add a little. Then add in the patties and brown well on both sides.
-
Step 3
Keeping the patties moist is important. During the cooking add some water or stock, just enough to cover the bottom. This will also give you a great sauce at the end to pour over them. I cook my patties for 20 minutes or so and let them simmer with a lid for an additional 5 min. As long as you keep a little liquid in the bottom they will be fine. Serve with some Frank's Hot Sauce, Gravy or the drippings from the pan.
