Make a Natural Remedy for Fleas

Dogs are so miserable when they have fleas. Plus fleas can invade our homes. What can we do to be rid of them the natural way?

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 91% rubbing alcohol
  • mint essential oil
  • spray bottle 20 ounce
  1. Step 1

It is a must to be rid of fleas. They hide everywhere. Baseboards, window coverings, carpet, dog bedding, etc. It you find one flea, then there are several hundreds.

  2. Step 2

Is your dog scratching? Examine your pooch, spread his hair apart down to where you can see the skin. Also look on his belly, you usually will see some fleas there. Another tip off that there are fleas is if your dogs sleeps with you and you notice all this little bites. I have known people who have had white socks on in their home and could see the little pesky bugs jumping off and on their socks. But also remember you can bring fleas inside from your yard also.

  3. Step 3

    Treatment
    Mix the following:
    2 cups of rubbing alcohol
2/3 cup plus 2 teaspoons essential oil

Spray all the areas of your home where you have seen signs of fleas. And do not forget your doggy' s bedding. With this mixture you can even spray it on your dog. Hold spray bottle about 8 inches from dog. And please make sure that you do not get it into your dogs eyes. You can spray your dog as needed. Added benefit, it makes your fur baby smell great.
