Make A Fresh Seven Layer Dip For Any Party

No one likes to show up at a party empty handed. A layered dip is easy to make, healthy, and most people like it. Grab a bag of tortilla chips and you are set.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 large can of refried beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 can sliced black olives
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • ½ head shredded lettuce
  • 8 oz. Shredded cheddar cheese
  • cutting board and sharp knife
  • pie plate or small casserole dish
  1. Step 1

Open the can of refried beans. Spread the entire can onto the bottom of the pie plate or casserole dish. Open the container of sour cream. Spread the entire container onto the top of the refried beans. Open the can of sliced black olives. Spread onto the sour cream.

  2. Step 2

Wash the tomatoes. Place on the cutting board and cut into small pieces. Wash the green onions. Place on the cutting board and slice. Wash the lettuce. Cut in half and store the unused portion. Place cut side down onto the cutting board and cut into long strips. Turn and cut again so you have thin, small slices. Set all three items aside.

  3. Step 3

Carefully spread the green onions on top of the black olives. Next spread the tomatoes. Take ¾ of the shredded cheese and spread it next. Place all of the lettuce on top of the shredded cheese. Take the remainder of the cheese and sprinkle in on top of the lettuce as a garnishment. Cover the entire dish with a lid or saran wrap to ensure freshness. Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat. Serve with tortilla chips as a side to a meal
