If you buy a new sofa at high end stores, they often come with tailored slip covers, so no one will ever known the difference. Just make sure that you shop around first because you may be able to find a sofa for less money than a slipcover.

2. Check out craigslist. You'll probably need to have access to a truck in order to buy a used sofa off of craigslist. If you don't have a truck, offer to pay a little more to have it delivered to your house. Make sure that you ask important questions like does the homeowner smoke or have pets.
