Make Jell-O Shots

Jell-o Shots are a very creative way of serving alcohol to your guests. Even those guests who do not enjoy drinking alcohol will love eating jell-o shots. And, jell-o shots are easy to make and are a lot of fun too!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Boiling water
  • Jell-O
  • Cold Water
  • Chilled Alcohol of choice
  • Tiny plastic cups with lids.
  1. Step 1

Bring two cups of water to a boil and then remove from the heat.

  2. Step 2

Stir in a 6 ounce package of gelatin, flavor of your choice. Stir constantly until all gelatin is dissolved.

  3. Step 3

Now stir in 6 ounces of cold water and 12 ounces of alcohol of your choice.

  4. Step 4

Spray the cups you are using lightly with a cooking spray so prevent the jell-o from sticking.

  5. Step 5

Pour jell-o into the individual cups, filling about 3/4 full. Place lids securely on the cups.

  6. Step 6

Turn cups upside down and place on a cookie sheet (turning cups upside down will make it easier to remove the jell-o shot when you are eating them). Place the cookie sheet into the refrigerator. Allow jell-o to set for at least two hours.

on 3/30/2009 I wondered how they made jello shots. I never tried one. Do you get the shot glasses with lids at a restaurant and bar supply store? 5*
