Don't let the short number of steps and ingredient list fool you. This is a great recipe!

eHow tells me I need to add 15 more words before I publish this article... even though it adds nothing to the article and has probably annoyed you. These were it. My apologies. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Melt a stick of butter in a frying pan on low heat. Do not let the butter darken.

    • 2

Add a 1/2 cup of sour cream and heat until liquefied with the butter. be careful not to overheat the mixture.

    • 3

Sprinkle real Parmesan cheese (I use Kraft) onto the mixture. I usually add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup depending on taste.

    • 4

This makes a very thick sauce, for a thinner sauce you can cut it with milk or cream.

Tips & Warnings

  • This is a super easy recipe and very low carb, and unbelievably tasty

  • Substitute Yogurt for sour cream, and olive oil for butter to make it a bit healthier, albeit a little less tasty.

  • While this is low carb, it undoubtedly has a ton of calories. Take Heed.

  • do not let the mixture boil, or overheat the butter as it will ruin the flavor. The butter should not brown while being cooked.
