Did you receive a George foreman indoor grilling machine for a gift, or buy one on a whim and have it shoved away in a cabinet some where? Well pull her out, because I have some ideas for you. Not only will it cut your cooking time down to nil, but it will cut CALORIES, and save energy too. So here are some of the recipes I have tried and had great success with.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • George foreman indoor grilling machine, or comparable brand
  • An electrical outlet
  • Groceries
  • An appetite
  1. Step 1
One of my favorite breakfast foods!

How to make Easy French cinnamon toast. Scramble 1 egg with a fork. Add 1 tsp. Sugar and ¼ tsp. Cinnamon. Dip a piece of your favorite bread, coating both sides with egg mixture. Spray your grilling machine with butter flavored pan spray. Put the French toast in grilling machine, and cook until the light goes off. (approximately 1-2 min.) No need to flip the bread, as when making them in a fry pan. Very quick and easy!

  2. Step 2

How to make a Fast, easy quesadillas. Spray your grilling machine with non stick pan spray. Lay your tortilla shell on the hot grill. Add your favorite shredded cheese, a few other ingredients such as onions, mushrooms, chicken chunks, etc. Lay another tortilla shell on top of your ingredients. (Do not put so many ingredients in that they will fall out when you close the lid to cook.) If you have large tortilla shells, you may have to fold one in half, instead of using two tortillas. Fill with ingredients accordingly. Close the lid, and cook until the light goes out. Usually 1 -2 minutes. Now top with your favorite salsa.

  3. Step 3

How to cook a hot dog like it was cooked on the grill. Pre heat your grilling machine. Lay the hot dog in horizontally. Close the lid and cook for about 1 minute. Open the lid, and turn the hot dog one half turn and close the lid. Cook for about 1 more minute. Your hot dog will have lines like they do when cooked on a regular grill. Your kids will think it is pretty cool. (At least my grand son thinks so)

Tips & Warnings
  • The grilling machines also work great for cooking chicken breasts, hamburgers, steaks, and fish (as they are intended for.) So pull it out and use it. You will be glad you didn’t give it away.
  • Use to grill your favorite vegetables
  • A grilled cheese sandwich, or a grilled ham and cheese is a breeze, using your indoor grill
  • Always wipe out your grill after using. Wash with soap and water after cooking meat, fish, or fowl.
