  • One 12oz can Hunts Tomato paste
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 teas dried oregano
  • 1/4 teas salt
  • 1/4 teas ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teas sugar
  • 1/8 teas garlic powder
  • 1/8 teas onion powder
  • 1/8 teas accent-optional

      First pre-mix the dry ingredients mix then set aside. In a small saucepan combine tomato sauce and water. Over medium high heat, bring to simmer. Add the pre-mixed spice and stir in well. Reduce heat to low and simmer 35-50 minutes stirring occasionally.

      Put sauce in jars or container and store in refrigerator til needed. If you make a lot of pizza you may want to double or triple the above and store in refrigerator for later use. May also be canned in a pressure cooker.
