There are many ways that you can utilize leftovers. Instead of wasting food and throwing it out, you can make at least 2 meals out of some things depending on how much you made to begin with. In addition, leftovers can be made in to something else and frozen for a later time.

  2. Step 2

Roast Chicken leftovers can be made in to tasty Chicken Salad, Chicken Croquettes, and you can even use the Chicken to make Soup. A delicious Glazed Ham can be saved and made in to Ham salad, Ham sandwhiches, Ham Croquettes, or it can be used in an Omelet. Leftover Mashed Potatoes can either be reheated the following day or made in to Potato Pancakes and then they can be frozen to preserve freshness.

  3. Step 3

If you have uneaten bread, it can be frozen or be used in recipes requiring Bread Crumbs. Finally, leftover Eggs that are Hard Boiled can be used in a Dinner Salad or used to make Egg Salad. Americans seem as if they are making the most of their leftovers especially with the state of economic affairs.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not leave leftovers in your refrigerator for more than a few days to prevent spoiling.
