Because of the current economic crisis, people are looking for new and creative ways to earn money online. Writing paid reviews is a great way to earn some additional money online and improve your writing at the same time.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blog
  • Computer
  1. Step 1

To start writing paid reviews, you must first create a blog. One the best ways to do this is through blogger.com or wordpress.com. These sites allow users to create their own blogs for free and start adding content immediately. It is important that you write and write often to your blog because you need at least 30-60 days worth of blog posts, with some consistent traffic (visitors) before your site will be approve for writing paid reviews.

  2. Step 2

Once your site is between 30-60 days old and you have between 30 and 60 blog posts you can begin looking for the best paid review sites. A simple Google search for "paid review sites" or "top paid review sites" will bring you all the results you need. Believe it or not, there are about 30 sites that offer paid reviews but there are only about 10 reputable ones. How these sites work is they bring advertisers and bloggers together in one area where the advertisers give the bloggers assignments to write about their sites or products. The amount of money bloggers are paid usualy depends on their Google Page Rank. While some sites do not require bloggers to have a page rank, most do and it is beneficial because you can earn more money.

  3. Step 3

Once you have selected the site that best fits your needs, you need to register your blog with that site and wait for it to be approved. Your site is often grouped into a category according to the information covered in your blog. This will allow you to only receive paid reviews for topics that fit your blog. If you site is not approved do not worry as some paid review sites can be very selective and there are plenty of other sites you can register with. If you are lucky enough to have your blog approved, you can begin accepting assignments or bidding on assignements, depending on how the site works, immediately. Sites like Sponsored Reviews allow users to both bid on reviews and have advertisers contact bloggers directly. Other sites like Blogsvertise, Smorty, and Loud Launch send assignments that your blog quailifies for directly to you.

  4. Step 4

Advertiser's assignments can vary in length and in their requirements. Some reviews only require 50 words and one link to the advertiser's site while others can require 200 words and 3 links. It all depends on what the advertiser needs. Longer posts usually pay more than shorter ones, but some sites have fixed payouts of $5 for every post. This may not seem like a lot of money but these assignments can pile up. I have personally made about $200 writing reviews over the past month. The best way to accomplish this is by registering your site with multiple paid review sites so you can receive the maximum amount of reviews. Most advertisers rate the reviews so make sure they are of good quality and have no spelling errors or they can be declined. Also, make sure you link the proper keywords to the advertiser's site correctly or the review will be declined. These are all things you can learn more about as your go along and are explained in detail on each site. Hopefully I have equipped you with enough information so you can begin your journey into the world of paid reviews or blog marketing as it is sometimes referred to as.

Tips & Warnings
  • Register your blog with more than one paid reviews site
  • Write quality reviews as advertisers rate the quality of them
