Things You'll Need:
- Desire
- Writing ability
-
Step 1
Make a Goal of how many article you want to write in a given month and stick to it. A good initial goal is one article per day or 30 articles per month. You can make a check list and check off each time you complete an article. If you continue at this pace, in six months you will have 180 articles! Which should make you about $800 per month in residual income!
-
Step 2
Remember that not every article makes $4 or $5 per month. Some articles might make $10 per month and some might make $0. This is simply an average, the fact is that the more quality articles you create - the better your earnings will be!
-
Step 3
Think outside the box when it comes to creating your articles. Do a search on eHow and see how many similar articles there are to your idea. If there are ten other similar articles, then you may want to choose another topic. The fact is, the more unique your article - the more likely it is to make money.
-
Step 4
Don't get disheartened by initial payments, these articles will take a while to begin earning their full income potential. At first, you will be seeing small earnings such as $0.09 - but you have to stick with your writing to see your earnings grow. The more you write and the more time your articles are active in the eHow system, the more you will earn.
-
Step 5
Promote your articles on your personal website or blog. You can also submit the article URL to ping-o-matic, stumbleupon and digg. The goal is to generate as much traffic to your eHow articles as possible. Once you have built a reputation as a quality writer - people will begin to follow your articles just to see what you have come up with now.
