How to Create Creamy Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff can be a real treat. It is rich, creamy and delicious. It is very easy to prepare your own Stroganoff at home in less than an hour, using easy-to-find ingredients. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 2 large Spanish onions
- 1 package of sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 can of beef bouillon
- 1 cup of flour
- 1-2 pounds of lean cubed beef
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 package of large egg noodles.

First, dice the onions into small pieces set aside. You want to place the cubed beef in a large skillet, add onions and mushrooms, and cook over medium heat until brown. Then cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.

Next, over medium heat, you want to place sour cream in a large saucepan, add 2 tablespoons of beef bouillon, stir, add butter and simmer for about 8 minutes. Next you want to add 1 cup of flour to the sour cream mixture and mix well.

Finally, you want to add beef cubes and the remaining bouillon broth, stir and simmer 8 minutes.

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to boil, add egg noodles, cook 3 to 5 minutes and drain. Place noodles on a large serving dish, pour the contents of the beef and sour cream mixture on top of noodles, and serve. You can add fresh parsley as a garnish.
